Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.28%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.28%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 2.47% or 5.5 points to trade at 228.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 2.09% or 25.5 points to end at 1248.5 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 1.71% or 3.0 points to 178.2 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 1.92% or 11.8 points to trade at 603.4 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 1.43% or 4.9 points to end at 338.5 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 1.12% or 1.1 points to 99.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 65 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.28% or 0.13 to $46.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $50.27 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 11.95 to trade at $1849.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.1371, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4421.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 90.880.
