Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.54%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.54%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 7.47% or 11.8 points to trade at 170.4 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) added 6.31% or 6.05 points to end at 101.95 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 6.28% or 19.7 points to 333.3 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 3.25% or 19.4 points to trade at 576.8 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 1.97% or 21.0 points to end at 1045.0 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 1.19% or 76 points to 6286.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 49 and 10 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 3.87% or 0.95 to $23.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 5.33% or 1.65 to hit $29.32 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.29% or 22.05 to trade at $1688.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.8982, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4593.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 100.078.
