Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which rose 5.88% or 174 points to trade at 3132 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:) added 5.88% or 15.0 points to end at 270.0 and Harel (TASE:) was up 2.03% or 56 points to 2816 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:), which fell 4.81% or 26 points to trade at 515 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TASE:) declined 2.76% or 25 points to end at 878 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) was down 2.39% or 100.00 points to 4080.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 223 to 155 and 37 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.32% or 1.31 to $57.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.60% or 0.99 to hit $62.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.89% or 28.15 to trade at $1464.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.19% to 3.4938, while EUR/ILS rose 0.01% to 3.8589.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 98.000.
