Telefonica Deutschland AG said Monday that net loss for the third quarter narrowed, and backed its 2019 view.
The Munich-based company O2D, +0.18% said net loss in the quarter was 24 million euros ($26.8 million), compared with a loss of EUR30 million the year prior.
Quarterly operating income before depreciation and amortization, or Oibda, rose strongly to EUR588 million from EUR461 million, Telefonica Deutschland said, bringing Oibda margin up to 31.6%.
Revenue rose to EUR1.87 billion from EUR1.83 billion, and the company said it added 392,000 mobile subscribers during the quarter.
Telefonica Deutschland backed its 2019 view, including full-year revenue “broadly stable” from last year’s result and a “broadly stable to slightly positive” Oibda.
