Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the added 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the were Tryg A/S (CSE:), which rose 1.86% or 3.4 points to trade at 186.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CSE:) added 1.34% or 3.0 points to end at 227.0 and Genmab (CSE:) was up 1.33% or 18.5 points to 1410.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:), which fell 3.52% or 10.5 points to trade at 287.9 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:) declined 0.99% or 2.3 points to end at 231.2 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) was down 0.80% or 64 points to 7960.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 58 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.64% or 0.34 to $53.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.88% or 0.52 to hit $58.90 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 5.05 to trade at $1499.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.52% to 6.7118, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4703.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.44% at 97.292.
