Switzerland’s Givaudan SA (GIVN.EB) said Thursday that sales in the first nine months of the year rose, buoyed by growth across all segments and geographies.
Sales climbed 15% to 4.66 billion Swiss francs ($4.69 billion), said Givaudan, maker of scents, flavors and active cosmetic ingredients. On a like-for-like basis, sales increased by 6.4%, it said.
The company’s fragrance division posted sales of CHF2.09 billion, up 11% from the same period a year earlier.
In its flavor division, sales rose 17% to CHF2.58 billion Givaudan said.
The company said that it continues to raise prices in order to offset higher input costs.
